On Tuesday, lawyers helping three dancers who used to work with Lizzo said they are looking at six new problems brought up against the singer. Lizzo was accused of treating people poorly at work, making hurtful comments about bodies, and misbehaving.
The lawyers said that the concerns were raised by individuals who traveled with Lizzo, aged 35, during her tours and also by those who were part of her team for the Amazon Prime Video show “Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.”
Ron Zambrano, an attorney who specializes in employment law, informed NBC that some of the complaints describe a work atmosphere with sexual overtones, while others are alleging that the singer didn’t provide proper payment.
“Some of the claims we are reviewing may be actionable, but it is too soon to say,” Zambrano told the outlet.
Zambrano mentioned that the singer known for promoting body positivity had singled out a dancer’s weight after a South by Southwest performance in a meeting.
The complainant’s lawyer stated that Lizzo allegedly told the employee that it’s common for dancers to be dismissed if they gain weight.
Last week, fans were initially surprised by allegations against the singer when three dancers claimed that she made them participate in explicit performances and made weight-related comments about a dancer in front of others.

The plaintiffs, Arianna Davis and Crystal Williams, also assert that the singer let them leave their positions. Noelle Rodriguez, the third individual involved in the case, stated that she had to step down.
All three dancers claim that in February 2023, the Grammy Award-winning artist invited her team for an evening in Europe that took an unfortunate turn.

“Things quickly got out of hand. Lizzo began inviting cast members to take turns touching the nude performers, catching dildos launched from the performers’ vaginas, and eating bananas protruding from the performers’ vaginas,” claims the lawsuit.
Davis asserted that Lizzo pushed and provoked her into touching another performer’s breast.
The dancers also allege that the singer deceived them a month afterward, making them attend a nude performance, removing their option to choose not to participate.
All three individuals are filing a lawsuit for both general and specific compensations, along with punitive damages and the expenses related to their attorneys.
