Azad said, “As an Indian, I feel what has changed? We have already burnt our fingers. What has changed that government wants to play cricket? What new has happened? That’s a question the government must answer.”Azad cited the recent arrest of Abu Jundal, and added that despite providing them with evidence, Pakistan has not acted against the perpetrators of 26/11 carnage in Mumbai. He also took on the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), saying that the cricket body is not above the government and the people.“What does the BCCI think? Is the BCCI above the government?” he said.“It’s not a welcome step. The government must think about the Indians, of those killed in 26/11,” Azad added.
