There are some things which are fun no matter how old you are. For me one of those things is the ghost operated (read motion operated) door and escalators. Turns out, Yuvraj Singh is a bit like that too.
While the Indian cricket team takes it easy in England between matches (we had a 3 day break after thrashing South Africa and before we take up Bangladesh) Yuvraj is discovering the childish joys of life. He posted this video taken on June 14 on his Instagram. And who was the cameraman? It was Virat Kohli.
He’s hamming of course and a career in films seems a little out of question, but its one of those things that don’t have a larger deeper meaning attached to it. The door is not a metaphor and it has nothing to do with Yuvraj Singh’s cancer or something that would change your life.
It’s something basic, for the mid week lull you might be going through. Sometimes all you need is basic and not underpaid journalists psuedo-intellectualising cups of coffee. Wednesdays are those days.
India are ready to take Bangladesh on June 15 in a Champions Trophy semi-final encounter. Hopefully, his newly developed powers can work wonders.
