At a recent event at Reliance Jio’s Mumbai headquarters, Tim Cook said in a video message that the newly launched iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will support a Hindi keyboard.

Apple’s latest phones will support 11 local languages, said the Apple CEO. “The iPhone now takes dictation in Hindi,” Cook added in the video message.
The iPhone 8 and 8 Plus will be available in India for Rs. 64,000 onwards. Reliance Jio announced a series of offers for the phones including a buyback scheme where customers will get 70% off on upgrades on their handsets after a year.

The offer will be available to customers who opt for a plan of Rs 799 per month or above. In a statement, the company said,
“This offer not only makes the device much more affordable but also enables customers to upgrade to newer models after utilising the buyback schemes.”

In another video message, Mukesh Ambani said that Jio’s partnership with Apple will deliver “best value” and a better customer experience.
