This Couple Decided To Keep A Maggi Counter At Their Wedding Buffet & It Was A Hit!

It’s a known fact that many attend a wedding just for the sake of food and Indians simply love the wedding spread. So much so, some even
secretly pack away food to last for a week! No jokes!

Weddings in the Covid era are definitely not the same.

The quintessential Indian wedding feast has undergone a sea
change in the past few years, with people moving away from the traditional
spread to more unconventional, international cuisines.

Cuisines range from Korean, Malay Thai to even Peruvian in
some places and some others stick to the basics, like this couple who chose to
have a Maggi stall set up and it seems like a winner, because who doesn’t like
Maggi?!

The tweet was shared by user @somyalakhani who wrote about
how much she loved her cousin for installing a live counter exclusively
dedicated to instant noodles. “I love my cousin for being so thoughtful
& ensuring there is a Maggi counter at her wedding tonight,” she wrote
in her tweet. In the photograph she shared, we could see rows of instant
noodles neatly stacked in a wooden rack. There was a gas stove and a non-stick
pan for cooking the many guests and serving it hot and fresh.

A user commented that it must have been the most popular
counter for kids at the wedding, to which the user added that it was loved by
adults equally. Many others wanted to know where the wedding was taking place
and how they could join the party.

With online weddings becoming popular amid the pandemic, another
couple actually decided to send ‘Kalyana Sappadu,’ or wedding meal in Tamil, to
guests at their doorstep!

Each of the bags had four tiffin carriers and there were a
total of 12 dishes packed inside them. They also provided the guests with
instructions regarding where to place each item on the banana leaf.
