Canadian rapper AP Dhillon is a sensation amongst the youth currently. The Punjabi singer enjoys a massive fan following with some biggest chartbusters in his name. Dhillon is currently in India for promoting his upcoming docuseries ‘AP Dhillon: First Of A Kind’ which will soon stream on Amazon Prime.

Dhillon recently released one of his singles titled ‘With You’ featuring his rumoured girlfriend and actress Banita Sandhu.
For promoting the song, AP shared a carousel where he was seen donning a multicolour shoe which some user claim resembles the Indian flag. Even though the singer later deleted the post, the eagle eye Twitteraatis made sure to send backlash against him for disrespecting the tricolour.
One user wrote, “He is a popular Punjabi singer AP Dhillon. Just before 15 August, he is flaunting his shoes on Instagram. Check the colour of his shoes. Is he deliberately insulting our tricolour? Is he one of those Khalistan supporters like Sidhu Moosewala? I am not sure but I find this behaviour disgusting!!”
Another said, “I don’t give a damn about celeb dating and all and their fashion sense but just for the sake of looking cool these kind of bAstards literally disrespects the national flag by putting the tricolour on his shoes. This chhapr! celebs deserve that shoe on his face bc.”
AP’s docuseries is directed by Jay Ahmed and will stream from August 18.
Talking about the series, Dhillon said in a statement, “When I began my journey from Gurdaspur to Canada, I never thought that one day I would be telling my story in such a manner. I am truly humbled and thrilled to have received so much love and recognition for the kind of music we are creating.”

AP Dhillon is best known for crooning viral songs like Excuses, Brown Munde, Dil Nu, Insane, Summer High, Tere Te and Wo Noor to name a few. He was earlier rumoured to be in a relationship with actress Khushi Kapoor after he named her in his song True Stories.
