'Game Changer', Fans React As Rana Daggubati Announces Historical Series Lords Of The Deccan

The latest Telugu original titled Lords of the Deccan, has been announced in collaboration with Rana Daggubati’s company!

 It is advertised as a historical drama-action series. This was announced by Rana at Comic Con USA. The series will take us back in time to see the beginning of the Chalukyas, a dynasty that shaped southern India for centuries.

It is adapted from the international bestseller Lords of The Deccan: Southern India from Chalukyas to Cholas, authored by Anirudh Kanisetti.

Reacting to this, one wrote, “This is so exciting! Congratulations @RanaDaggubati Always a step ahead. Always finding new ways to reach audience.”

The author’s first book, Lords of the Deccan, was one of 2022’s most talked-about histories. Even the Mumbai LitFest’s Book of the Year (Non-Fiction) Award went to it.

About Rana Daggubati 

In addition to Hindi and Tamil movies, Rana is an Indian actor and producer well recognised for his Telugu-language roles. With a variety of parts—from main roles to supporting characters—in many languages, Rana is one of the few Indian actors who has been able to appeal to the entire country. 2013 was one of his busiest years in his career. Rana made cameo roles in three films, including Arrambam, which marked his Tamil cinema debut, Something Something, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, and others.

In the same year, he joined two high-profile films, Rudhramadevi by Gunasekhar and Baahubali: The Beginning, in which he plays the main antagonist.
