TV personality and Bigg Boss season 8 winner Gautam Gulati is all set to feature as a gang leader of season 19th of MTV’s popular reality show Roadies. He who is himself new on the show will be joined by another newcomer actress Rhea Chakraborty on the gang leader’s chair. Other than these Prince Narula and Sonu Sood who have experienced the show are also returning in their roles.

Gautam who was ironically rejected from Roadies in season 5 is proving where all your hard work can take you.
In a new interview with India Today, the Diya Aur Baati Hum actor reflected on the same. He was asked whether his co-judge Prince has the upper hand of being experienced at this Gautam said, “Nahi aisa kuch nahi hail (There’s nothing like that). Yes, he knows the show and how it works, but kuch chizein zindagi mein pehli baar hoti hai (Some things happen in life for the first time), right?”
He then warmly expressed, “I was rejected from the show some 16-17 years ago. It was my first audition. Now, I am a judge on the show. So I think this is enough. I keep this kind of mentality. Kisiko koi bhi advantage ho sakta hai. Jaise aap Bollywood me le lijiye-kai log (filmy) families se aate hai jabki hum nahi aate hai. Hum bhi kaam toh kar hi rahe hi na? (People can have advantages. Take Bollywood for example where people come from filmy backgrounds. But people like us without that are also working, right).”
“So this is what I believe in the show as well, that even if I am new here, you never know I might win and my team may win.”
The show has a format of participants playing the game in a team under a gang leader’s guidance. Gautam shared his choice of contestants for this season and shared, “I want soldier-minded people- jo palat ke wapis nahi dekhte, ya toh marte hai ya maarte hai(who wouldn’t look back and would look back and who would either kill or die doing the task). I want someone jo na harne ka jazba rakhta ho, who won’t give up and focuses on winning.”
“I want people to focus on the goal. I am gonna be focusing on people like that.”
