Several reports suggest that the couple knew each other for years but were spotted together just a few weeks before their engagement.
They were first papped together at a Mumbai restaurant in March this year followed by an airport appearance. They were then clicked watching an IPL match in Mohali and just a few days ahead of the engagement, Raghneeti were photographed together on a date night in Mumbai.
ANI reported that Parineeti and Raghav studied together in London and were friends for a long time.
A 2014 Vogue report suggests that Parineeti holds a triple Honours degree in business, finance and economics from the Manchester Business School. She met Raghav there only. India Today report revealed that Raghav studied at the London School of Economics (LSE) and then ran a boutique wealth management firm in London before coming back to India.

Woman’s Era recently reported that Parineeti and Raghav’s love story started on the sets of Chamkila last year.
When Parineeti was shooting in Punjab, Raghav used to visit her as a friend and then later fell head over heels for the Kesari actress. Raghav in an interview with Youtuber Ranveer Allahabadia once spoke about his first meeting with Parineeti. He shared “Hum jaise bhi mile, it was very magical and a very organic way of meeting.”
“It is something that I thank god every day for, for giving me Parineeti in my life… Bahut badi blessing hai (It’s a huge blessing) and I am extremely happy that I have her as my partner. As I said, I thank god every single day for giving her to me.”
Parineeti recently penned a long note revealing that it was just one breakfast with Raghav that made her decide that ‘he is the one’.
Sharing a picture from their engagement, Parineeti wrote on Instagram, “When you know, you know. One breakfast together and I knew – I had met the one. The most wonderful man whose quiet strength would be calming, peaceful and inspiring. His support, humour, wit and friendship are pure joy. He is my home.”

Co-starring Diljit Dosanjh as Amar Singh Chamkila, Parineeti will essay the role of Amarjot Kaur in the 2024 biographical drama.
