Pitti has been making a lot of headlines lately. It all began when he was spotted at the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir. He grabbed eyeballs when his picture with actress Kangana Ranaut started doing the rounds on the internet. 

Many started speculating that he is Ranaut’s beau. However, the Queen actress soon cleared the air when she announced that she is dating someone else.  “My humble request to the media, please don’t spread misinformation. Nishant ji is happily married and I am dating someone else. Wait for the right time please don’t embarrass us, it’s not nice to link a young woman to a new man every day just because they clicked pictures together. Please don’t do this,” she had posted on her social media handles.

Pitti And His Two Brothers Co-founded EaseMyTrip In 2008

Born in 1986, Nishant Pitti is a notable individual in the travel sector. He co-founded well-known travel platform, EaseMyTrip along with his two brothers Rikant and Prashant Pitti. In 2008, Nishant Pitti, along with his brothers, initiated the travel business EaseMyTrip through bootstrapping. Subsequently, in 2014, Pitti ventured into the production of Bollywood movies, using it as a branding strategy for EaseMyTrip.  Pitti first ventured into the world of cinema by bankrolling the horror movie Mumbai 125 KM (2014). This was followed by Irrfan Khan-starrer Madaari (2016), Nawazuddin Siddiqui-starrer Freaky Ali (2016) and Shahid Kapoor-starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu (2018). 

 Other significant production include Guest iin London, Fanney Khan, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and Blank.

EaseMyTrip recorded gross booking revenue of ₹3,716 crore and PAT of ₹106 crore in FY22.

EaseMyTrip’s Bold Move Amid India-Maldives Tension

EaseMyTrip, In a significant move amid the boycott Maldives campaign online, EaseMyTrip had decided to suspend all Maldives flight bookings following the derogatory remarks made by some ministers, now suspended, against India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his recent visit to Lakshadweep. The company’s board of directors recently  gave approval for a Rs 100 crore investment in Jeewani Hospitality Private Limited to facilitate the implementation of the hotel project. The proposed location is anticipated to be approximately 1 km from the Sri Ram Mandir.

EaseMyTrip co-founder and CEO took to X to make this announcement.

“…we have greenlit a groundbreaking proposal to venture into the hospitality sector with the establishment of a luxurious 5-star hotel in Ayodhya, strategically located less than 1 km from the revered Shree Ram Mandir. This decision marks a significant investment milestone of up to Rs 100 crore in Jeewani Hospitality Pvt Ltd, the entity spearheading this ambitious project,” EaseMyTrip CEO and co-founder Nishant Pitti wrote on X.

On February 16, SpiceJet’s Chairman and Managing Director, Ajay Singh, along with Busy Bee Airways, predominantly owned by Nishant Pitti, CEO of EaseMyTrip, jointly submitted a bid for Go First airlines. This initiative is separate from EaseMyTrip, as the company remains dedicated to pursuing its strategic objectives and expansion plans.

Nishant Pitti Reportedly Bought A Commercial Property In Gurgaon For A Whopping Rs 100 Crore

Co-founder of a travel and tourism platform EaseMyTrip, Rikant Pitti, has purchased a commercial property in Gurgaon for ₹99.34 crore, documents accessed by CRE Matrix, a real estate data analytics firm showed.’The total land area is 43,594 sq. ft and the total built-up area is 1,00,429 sq. ft, the documents showed. It is located in Sector 32, Gurgaon.
