The old man is seen breaking down while searching for his son in a room full of dead bodies. When a reporter asks him who he is looking for, the man replies, “beta, mera beta wo milta nahi hai” and starts crying. He also explains how his son boarded the train one station prior and is now missing.

The heart-breaking video has left everyone on Twitter emotional. 

“I literally cried, my Throat is hurting now,” a twitter user replied on seeing the video. “Just heartbreaking… hope he finds his son healthy…,” another tweet said. Here are some other reactions too. 

Horrific three-train crash

At least 288 people have been killed and around 803 were injured in a horrific three-train collision. The crash involved the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, the Shalimar-Chennai Central Coromandel Express, and a goods train.

The crash saw one train ram so hard into the other that carriages were lifted high into the air, twisting and then smashing off the tracks. Another carriage had been tossed entirely onto its roof, crushing the passenger section. Over 3,400 passengers were travelling in two trains, according to railway officials.

According to the joint inspection report on the tragic Balasore train accident, the primary cause of the mishap was identified as a signal failure.
