After Team India landed in the Caribbean for Tests, ODIs and T20Is vs West Indies, the likes of Virat Kohli could be seen enjoying a beach volleyball session before their routine practice.
In a bid to get over the jet lag, the team management opted to allot players a couple of days and the squad was seen putting their time off to good use.
The BCCI shared a video on their official social handle where players are seen enjoying themselves on the beach.
The series vs West Indies starts from July 12 with two Tests and then there will be ODIs and T20Is.

Ever since losing the WTC final, this will be India’s 1st outing.
India have won their last 4 Test series in West Indies since 2006. Incidentally, that was their first Test series win there since 1971. The last time they lost was back in 2002. India now are preparing for the ODI World Cup which is just over 3 months away. After the West Indies tour there is the Asia Cup which will be a nice dress rehearsal for the tournament.
India last played a Test series in West Indies in 2019. Virat Kohli was the skipper back then and Rohit Sharma will be at the helm. Certain changes have been made as India looks to regain form across formats and gain momentum ahead of the tournament.

It is nice to see India taking a small break before the serious business gets underway. A bit of relaxation is not a bad way to pass the time.
India will be hosting the ODI World Cup solo for the first time. The tournament starts on October 5 and ends on November 19. India’s 1st game is on October 8 vs Australia. India vs Pakistan is on October 15.
Meanwhile, West Indies have failed to qualify for the first time. They are the 1st former champs who have not qualified for the World Cup.
