Sachin Tendulkar Scored At Least 50 In Every 2.96 International Innings Which Is Just Amazing

34,357 runs in 664 international appearances with 100 centuries and 164 fifties plus an average of 48.52. Staggering figures right? These are the numbers recorded by Sachin Tendulkar between 1989 and 2013 while representing India.

Most international runs, matches, 100s and 50s – the man has climbed almost every milestone. He has the most runs, appearances and tons in both Tests and ODIs. Sachin is the 1st to score an ODI 200 and also breach the 10,000-run mark in the format along with the 12,000-run mark in Tests. Only one man has played 200 Tests and it is him.

As his records indicate, the appetite he has shows what a run-machine he is. Always hungry to score, Sachin has actually done it remarkable consistency. No, do not take our word for it, the numbers say it is so.

Across formats, Sachin batted 782 times. On 264 occasions he has scored at least 50. That is an average of 2.96 innings per 50-plus score. Basically, in every 3rd innings or actually not even that, he is making at least 50. Of his 264 50-plus scores, 100 are centuries. That means he gets a hundred 37.87% of the times he crosses 50 and that is a good conversion rate.

An international hundred every 7.82 innings and only a 50 every 4.76 innings is proof that he loved to put the runs on the board.

Sachin was a man who churned out runs at will and that is why he ended up with so many records. Some may never be broken in this lifetime, if at all.
