Dravid was the first to get there as he added 170 runs with Sanjay Bangar and 150 runs with Tendulkar for the 2nd and 3rd wickets respectively. But there was no respite for the hosts as Tendulkar and Ganguly shared a 4th wicket stand of 249. Their scores of 148, 193 and 128 helped India amass 628/8 which pretty much ensured they would not have to bat again.
