A fan questioned her on being against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and if she was anti-national because her mother is Chinese.
Jwala’s mother, Yelan Gutta is of Chinese descent who married Indian Kranti Gutta from Hyderabad.
This quickly escalated into an argument as Jwala was in no mood to take it lying down. And why should she? Questioning one’s patriotism due to parentage is not acceptable.
