Pankaj Advani Wins His 24th World Title After Clinching IBSF 6-Red Snooker World Cup

Pankaj Advani won his 24th world title when he clinched the IBSF 6-Red Snooker World Cup with a win over Babar Masih of Pakistan in the final, as per PTI. The 36-year-old won the third and fourth in quick succession to go 3-1 up.  

Advani dominated the next 3 to be one frame away from getting his hands on his 24th world winner’s trophy.

Babar won the next 3 frames to make it interesting. 

But eventually, it was Advani who triumphed. 

Pankaj has now won 2 in the last 2 weeks – Asian Snooker and 6-red Snooker World Cup.

“I am living a dream. Being away from the table for so long, these two back-to-back triumphs assure me that my hunger and competitive skills haven’t diminished,” he said.

“Very fortunate to win both as I am aware there is still a lot of work to put into my game once I return. Happy to return home tomorrow with two gold medals for my country,” he added.
