The most recent one was reportedly bought by one Redditor AMC20_ who says that the device was actually listed as a Pixel 6 without a box. However, from the looks of it, it’s clearly the upcoming Pixel 7 Pro.

Google had revealed what the Pixel 7 lineup would look like at Google’s 2022 I/O. While it isn’t surprising that Google’s Pixel devices have a tendency to leak in the most bizarre of ways, this truly is a rather weird one.

In case you didn’t know, this wasn’t the first Pixel 7 device to be sold unofficially online. A few days back, someone on eBay had reportedly revealed that they were selling a Pixel 7.

Looking at the reflection of the device’s glossy back, revealed that the images were actually being captured by a Pixel 7 Pro (looking at the unique pill-shaped camera module placement), as highlighted by Mishaal Rahman.

Sadly, these leaks don’t really reveal much. For starters, the device is making use of a different modem compared to the Pixel 6 series. Moreover, the device could get a 12GB/265GB storage variant.

However, the purchaser also revealed that the phone was running just fine until it supposedly was remotely wiped. This isn’t surprising considering Google has safeguards in place to protect its confidential data. But it’ll be interesting to see if more such devices surface and if they’re able to shed some more info before the launch.
