10-year-old Aditi Tripathi has visited 50 countries around the globe before hitting a decade on the planet. She has not only seen the things people often write about in their diaries but also done so without missing even a single day of school.

While people might think this remarkable feat of getting to travel to 50 countries across the globe can only be carried out by a full-time traveller, the Tripathi family is out to prove these assumptions wrong.

Aditi Tripathi has covered most of Europe and has made it as far away as Malaysia and Thailand in the course of her travels. The globetrotting child’s dad, Deepak, and mom, Avilasha, decided early on that they wanted their child to be a well-travelled individual. They wanted her to experience the world without losing any progress at school.

So they devised a plan. Now, the family jets off every school holiday, making sure to use the bank holidays too. The Greenwich couple forks out nearly 20,000 Pounds (over Rs 21 Lakhs) a year to fund these travels.

The couple work as accountants and believe that it’s worth every penny for Aditi to understand different cultures, foods, and people. The dad recounted how, “She gets curious and excited seeing different cultures like in Nepal, India and Thailand.”

The couple started these trips when Aditi was three years old and still in nursery school. They went to Germany. Back then, she used to go to school two and a half days a week. “Now we pick her up straight from school on Friday, and we take a late-night flight back at around 11 p.m. on Sunday,” informed Deepak.
