12-year-old Anshul Soni hails from Bhilwara, Rajasthan according to his Linkedin profile. The child is a seventh-grade student at Nobel International School, but that is not the end of his resume. While most children at the age of 12 are worried about which pen would win them a round of pen fights in class, Soni has other things on his mind.

Soni is a front-end developer, a graphic & UI/UX designer, and a “founder” of CodeINBlogs. On top of it all, the child also informs his 4,400 followers on Linkedin that he is also learning the Node.js backend. With his arsenal full of achievements to show off, the barely-teen also brags about completing more than 400 exercises on FreeCodeCamp, a non-profit that is making web development accessible to all.

This list of achievements was surely too much to handle for people online. Most people went down a rabbit hole wondering about what they were doing by age 12, surely not as much as Anshul.

Looking at Anshul’s jam-packed portfolio, people figured that the child might be missing out on the simple things childhood is all about. One user snarkily commented, “When I was 12, I was enjoying childhood.”

Another noted, “Kids like them tend to relive their childhood when they’re full grown adults or after marriage lol.”

Then there were those people who couldn’t help but let the nostalgia out. One reminisced, “Downloading music from MP3skull to my ₹200 Dilli wali ‘ipod shuffle.’”

While one recounted, “Playing Angry birds friends on fb.” To this, the original poster replied and joked, “You should have instead built angry bird.”

For others, childhood was about the simple joys, “Bhai fridge ka darwaza band karne par kaise light off hota hea wooh samajh raha tha.”

Chipping in, a 15-year-old worried about the kid, “Its kinda sad how thesse kids are being forced by society to start working and doing this stuff from an early age. Its always appreciable to learn new stuff but getting so deep into it that you lose your childhood, no?”

They continued, “childhood are the only days when you are protected from the harshness of the world, rather than treating them like adulthood, enjoy and perish them as these are Truly the ‘Golden’ days.”
