In order to prove that age need not be a barrier to success, a four-year-old boy from the United Arab Emirates broke the record for being the youngest person (male) to publish a book. Here’s his story.

The youngest author in the world, Saeed Rashed AlMheiri of Abu Dhabi, holds the Guinness World Record at the age of 4 years and 218 days.
“His record was verified on March 9, 2023, after he sold over 1,000 copies of his children’s book The Elephant Saeed and the Bear. It is a story about kindness and an unexpected friendship between the two animals.”
However, Saeed is not the only record-breaker in the family; in fact, Saeed’s book was inspired by his older sister AlDhabi.
AlDhabi, his 8-year-old older sister, who holds the record for being the youngest person to publish a bilingual book series, has been his biggest supporter and mentor, according to Khaleej Times (female).
She had previously broken the record for publishing a bilingual book at a young age (female). AlDhabi, a creative thinker and innovator, is one of the nation’s youngest business owners and the owner of the local publishing company Rainbow Chimney Educational Aids.

Engaging in various activities such as reading, writing, drawing, and playing with a loved one can inspire creativity and lead to the creation of personal works, as expressed by Saeed Rashed AlMheiri when he mentioned writing his book inspired by his sister whom he loves and enjoys spending time with.
Saeed Rashed AlMheiri explained that the story of his book revolves around an elephant named Saeed who, during a picnic, encounters a polar bear. Despite initially feeling apprehensive that the bear might harm him, the elephant eventually suggests that they have a picnic together.

The two animals become friends and demonstrate kindness towards each other, forming the core theme of the book.
