At the age of 2, Beckett received a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia on April 25, 2018. The two siblings, who are separated by 15 months, went from playing at home to sharing a chilly hospital room.
Aubrey, Beckett’s younger sister, watched as her brother struggled to play and walk at the age of 4.
Everyone found the situation to be difficult, and the family was completely unprepared for it. However, as Kaitlin revealed in-depth to Bright Side, they stuck together, relied on one another, and took things day by day.

Kaitlin informed Bright Side that Aubrey had a difficult time. She still considers Beckett to be her best friend. She was without her brother for 35 days while he was in the hospital. She had no idea what was going on. She only knew that her brother, who was also her best friend, was ill.
As one might anticipate, life for the entire family was anything but simple or easy.
In the caption of the Facebook post, Kaitlin wrote, “I watched my only son go through so much and still smile. I witnessed my dear Aubrey overcome a challenging period in her life and grow so strong. She witnessed her best friend and brother in a situation that no sibling should ever go through.”

The journey was challenging with many ups and downs, but Beckett succeeded. Beckett is now cancer-free and attending school after two whole years of pain, suffering, and struggle. He is doing well, has finished his treatment, and has returned to school. He is currently in the first grade, as Kaitlin informed us.
He received his final treatment on August 8, 2021, and is currently in excellent health. Beckett’s sister, who is now seven, is still by his side even though he is now six. The siblings’ unbreakable bond, which had already grown stronger before Beckett’s illness, is still being nurtured.
Although Beckett’s journey was demanding, we are all aware that many more people are travelling a similar route.
Kaitlin reportedly advised people who may be going through a similar situation to keep a positive attitude, take each day as it comes and not be afraid to ask for help. You have the strength to persevere because you should keep in mind that this is only one chapter in your life.
