Raging California Wildfires Turn Blue Skies An Ominous Orange

States of California, Oregon and Washington are going through hell as blazing wildfires are causing catastrophic damage to life and property. Wildfires in California have torched more than two million acres, the state fire department said, as an uncontrolled blaze forced many residents to flee their homes. People in San Francisco and elsewhere in California woke up on September 9 to a deep orange sky that triggered apocalyptic visions in a year already rife with disturbing events.

After 2018, this is California’s worst fire season in terms of loss of life and property.

“The orange skies this morning are a result of wildfire smoke in the air,” San Francisco Bay air quality officials said in a tweet.

Skies are so dark at times that it feels like it’s night and not day. Some places are witnessing ash falling like snow, the cause being massive wildfires filling the air with smoke and cinders.
