'Coronasur': Pictures Show People Burning Coronavirus Effigy For Holika Dahan

Holika Dahan is a significant ritual which is conducted a day prior to Holi.

People in the Worli area have put up an effigy on the theme of coronavirus with ‘Coronasur’ written on it.

The locals will burn the ‘Coronasur’ effigy for Holika Dahan, to symbolise getting rid of the deadly coronavirus.

An effigy, based on coronavirus, was put up in Worli area here and burned to ashes in ‘Holika’ bonfire on the eve of Holi.

At Godrej Garden City near SG Road, the locals marked the festival of Holi with a message against COVID-19.

At Godrej Garden City near SG Road in Ahmedabad, the organizers put up an effigy of Coronavirus and wore masks whereas children held placards spreading awareness about the prevention of this viral infection.
