Which South Indian dish is your favourite? Dosa is my personal favourite, and I’m sure many of you do as well. There are numerous ways to enjoy the humble treat, whether with masala or sambhar, ghee and podi masala, or simply chutneys.
Dosa recently made headlines with a new type of dosa making waves on the internet. This humble creation, termed ‘Spiderman Dosa,’ has taken the internet by storm and gone viral.

The dosa vendor was located on Kora Food Street in Anna Nagar, Chennai.
We could see the making of the unique ‘Spiderman Dosa’ in the viral video. First, the lady poured the Dosa batter into a bottle in an unusual manner. Rather than spooning it onto the tawa, she drizzled it in small streams in a circular motion.
The Dosa base now has a web-like structure. She then repeated the process on the other tawa. The filling also included egg wash, vegetable keema, cheese, and spices like oregano and chilli flakes. Once both dosas were cooked, they were sandwiched together and served as a mesh nest with ketchup shaped like a smile!
