SpaceX Founder Elon Musk Ready For Space, Brought A Ticket On Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic

Everyone who follows Tesla owner Elon Musk knows how much he promotes space tourism. He is so fascinated by space that he has his own space company by the name of SpaceX.

However, it is billionaire Richard Branson who flew to space on Sunday before Musk aboard his own rocket ship Virgin Galactic space flight with five more crew members and Musk totally supported him.

Elon Musk has reportedly brought a ticket to space and paid for a seat on a future Virgin Galactic voyage. He has paid a 10,000-dollar (£7,000) deposit to reserve a seat even though no date for the flight has been specified.

Musk had been supporting Branson and had made it very apparent on Twitter after he wished Branson luck for his flight.

Musk even met Branson on the day of the latter’s flight to space to wish his friend luck for the journey ahead.

Amid what has been dubbed the billionaires’ space race, SpaceX has launched dozens of rockets, including manned flights, but Mr Musk himself has not yet flown on any. The company is due to launch its first fully private spaceflight in the autumn.

Sir Richard Branson has become the first owner-astronaut to take part in a mission, beating Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, who plans to reach space in his own rocket through his Blue Origin company in nine days’ time.
