There have been several incidents where children fell off balconies and lost their lives when left unattended. However, completely disregarding her own child’s safety, this woman’s actions have shocked everyone on the internet.
A shocking video has surfaced where a mother was captured on video hanging her son from the balcony of a high-rise in Faridabad. You can watch the video here.
The horrifying video shows the son hanging by bedsheet and grabbing onto a saree. His mother wanted him to fetch the saree from the balcony below since the house on the 9th floor was locked.
The video shows the son clinging to the bedsheet while his mother and other family members pull him up.
The incident took place in a society in Sector 82, Faridabad last week. The video was shot by a concerned resident of the opposite building who witnessed the entire ordeal.

According to one of the neighbours, the woman did not seek anyone’s help or advice on how to get back her saree from the locked house and decided to endanger her son’s life. The neighbour recording the video can be heard saying that if the child falls down, nothing will be left of him. He also says that “aise bhi log hote hain (there are people like this)”.
“This happened on February 6 or 7. The woman decided to endanger her son for a saree. She should have contacted the society maintenance instead of doing something so dangerous,” the neighbour said.
Last year, a two-year-old girl fell from the 12the floor balcony and a delivery driver was hailed as the hero for catching her and saving her life. “Everything happened within a minute. I didn’t understand how I could scale the roof that quickly. I couldn’t believe I saved the girl’s life,” the driver had said at the time.
A second’s recklessness can cost a lifetime’s loss.
