Something Similar Took Place In June

An American Airlines flight attendant passed away in June after collapsing in the middle of a flight from abroad to the US.

A 38-year airline veteran, Carol Wright, unintentionally passed out during a flight from Venice to Philadelphia on a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.

The crew made “valiant efforts” to resuscitate Ms. Wright while the plane was diverted to Dublin, Ireland, but she was later declared dead at a nearby hospital.
