Guy Uses 'Panja' As Ice-Breaker On Dating App & The Internet Can't Get Over It

Dating can be hard for anyone, especially in this day and age when things get started on an app rather than in real life. While online dating can have its perks, the biggest hurdle comes during the awkward initial phase of the relationship when both parties know very little about each other. A guy seems to have found one of the most bizarre ice-breaker lines to cut through the awkwardness.

Twitter user Neha Ramneek Kapoor shared an unusual incident she came across while talking to a guy on Bumble. She wrote, “Someone save me from the hell that is heterosexuality,” as she posted a screenshot of her conversation with someone named Pranav.

The screengrab shows how Neha went in and said an initial “hi,” as only women can initiate a conversation on Bumble. The guy simply replied, “Hi N,” given that her name would be masked on the platform.

Everything was fine, and the greetings were appropriate, until Neha asked the guy how he was. To which he surprisingly responded, “I am takatvar,” and added a bicep emoji.

Things got even weirder; moments later, the guy asked Neha to virtually arm wrestle with him as he wrote back, “Chal PANJAA.”

People online were completely confused by the guy’s sudden request. Most were laughing at the situation while some saw nothing wrong with the request. Neha replied to the people supporting the guy and wrote, “All the men in my mentions and quotes simping for this man they don’t even know, I wish you find him so YOU can date him.”

One user reacted to the post, “Sorry but this is too funny.”

One fellow was all for the line, “this is way funnier than any weird cringey pick up line or compliments though.”

A user shared their own weird anecdote from matching with a strange guy on a dating app, “One 36 year old man I had matched with recently, asked me how long my hair was, was a first for me.”

One user mentioned, “The red flag was I am takatvar to your HOW are you.”
