India To Build Vietnam-Like Colossal 'Golden Bridge' To Attract More Tourist

There is no denying that Europe is the cultural capital of the world. The culture is deep-rooted and constantly sprouting in the form of art, architecture, music, literature, and philosophy that can be seen in every nook and corner of this continent.

Following the same trend, many countries across the world are now trying to follow this trend by creating new forms of art. One such recent addition is the Golden Bridge outside Da Nang in Vietnam.

Standing tall at 1,400 m above sea level above the Ba Na hills, the bridge offers a majestic view of the surrounding countryside. Now, the plan is to build something similar in India. Moved by its bombastic opening and the number of people travelling to Vietnam to see this ginormous figure, the Indian government is also planning to construct colossal bridges to attract tourists.

The central government is now looking for options and proposals where a similar monument can be constructed in India to attract more tourists. An NHAI official said that there is a plan to build 1.5 km long bridge connecting Rameshwaram which will have designs of temples.

“There has been a huge change in approach while designing bridges and beautifying them. This will get more push in the future as the focus is to make them look beautiful, particularly at night,” said an official, reports TOI
