This J&K Police Constable Paid Tribute To Soldiers With His Rap Making Our Hearts Swell With Pride

After the Bollywood flick Gully Boy came into existence, rap music has suddenly become quite popular in the country. People from different areas of the country can be seen rapping in their native language and their creative streak is on an all-time high.

But can you imagine a cop rapping right in the beat? Well, that sure did happen. A police constable from Jammu and Kashmir made a rap song that paid tribute to the soldiers of the country and must we say, it was quite gripping.

This policeman named Jeevan Kumar performed his rap on a reality TV show named Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan. The policeman rapped his song named “Bharat Mata Ki Jai, Jai Hind” wearing his uniform enthralling viewers all over the country.

The judges of the show, actor Parineeti Chopra, Mithun Chakraborty and director-producer Karan Johar were seen grooving to the beats of the rap.

Some amazing lines from his rap goes by – “Ao jao Jammu Kashmir, Khade hai shoorveer, Hai Indian Army khadi, J&K police bhi. Hum sab maqsad ek and aur shanti, shahadat hongi an zaaya honge haalat theek. Welcome to the city of temples and paradise on Earth.”

The clip of his performance was shared by Aditya Raj Kaul who is a journalist. He captioned the video – “A full rap song by Jammu & Kashmir Police Constable Jeevan Kumar!”

Jeevan also shared his introduction video from the reality show on his Instagram page named “iampolicewalarapper” where he talks about his work and how he selflessly tends to protect the nation.

People on the internet loved the verses of this policeman’s rap song. They loved the enthusiasm by which he sang the entire number as well.

One user said, “I had to search word’s upon;
Watch the enthusiasm!
The nonstop raga; (jai hind most times, but not used as over crowded)
at last para, beautiful adjusted an English sentence.
Most overall beautiful that is.” Another user said, “Bhai sahab..haven’t heart a better rap than this..especially without any obscene commentary.”

Jeevan shares pictures and videos of his rap music on his Instagram handle. He also gives his followers glimpses of his work by sharing his pictures in his uniform and with different weaponry.

Love to see such talent coming out of unusual places.
