Outrage On Twitter: Little Boy's Request To Take Vamika Kohli On A Date Draws Criticism

Recently, a little boy’s placard asking Indian cricketer Virat Kohli if he could take his daughter Vamika on a date received a lot of backlash on social media. The photo was taken in Bengaluru during a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings, and it quickly went viral sparking a debate about how inappropriate something like this can be.

Many Twitter users expressed disgust at the message, with some calling it “creepy” and “inappropriate.” Others pointed out that the child was likely unaware of the implications of his message and that it was the responsibility of adults to guide him in expressing his admiration more respectfully.

Inappropriate Placard: Little Boy’s Request To Take Virat Kohli’s Daughter On A Date Draws A Strong Reaction On Twitter

The photo has been shared on Twitter by Dr Nimo Yadav with the caption, “Here is something wrong with parenting, idk why people are finding it cute.”

The young boy, captured in a now-viral photograph, appears unaware of the significance of the words on his poster. He held up a sign in the stands that read, “Hi Virat uncle, “May I take Vamika out on a date?” Although some viewers found it endearing, most chastised the child’s parents for endorsing such questionable behaviour!

The placard has enraged netizens, with many blaming the child’s parents for forcing him to hold it. Many people believe that the little boy is unaware of what is written on the placard and that the parents did it to increase their social media likes and followers.
