An Australian man recently won two big-fat million dollar lotteries and we are wondering if he stole our luck by any chance. I mean, what are the odds of winning two lotteries in a week?
The man, who couldn’t believe his own luck, won two lotteries within a span of just one week. The unidentified man, who in his 40s and hailed from Bondi, raked up Aus$1,020,487 (Rs 52,018,351) on Monday last week. He then went on to pick up another Aus$1,457,834 (Rs 74,349,939) lottery on Saturday.

The intelligent man wants to invest his easily-earned (if I may) money thoughtfully. He plans on investing in real estate and purchasing a car. But “a holiday to Honolulu goes without saying”.

“We don’t know of anyone else who has won twice in a week,” NSW Lotteries spokesman Matt Hart told AFP. He added, “We have had people win twice in their lifetime, but not twice in a week. It is very unusual and unique.”

The odds of winning once are one in 1.845 million so no one has really estimated the odds of winning twice. Wait, don’t tell me this guy not only became a millionaire but also set a world record. I would die of jealousy!
