Street food in India has taken quite a turn as of late. People are trying to come up with bizarre food combinations to catch eyeballs on the internet.
Previously, we saw people making paranthas with momos and even adding gajar ka halwa to the east-inspired street delicacy. The newest addition to the list is a Momos Aloo Patty.

Food Blogger Introduces Momos Aloo Patty In Viral Video

Food blogger, Foodpandits on Instagram, posted a video of him trying the new combination on the streets of Haridwar and left the internet disgusted. In the caption, the food influencer noted that he found the unique Momos Patty at a food stall near the railway station in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
In the video, the blogger filmed the food vendor who came up with the weird combination and asked him to make one in front of the camera. The seller obliged and whipped up a quick serving for him.
The vendor first opened up a regular Aloo Patty and then spread its filling to make room for the upcoming momos. He then picked out steaming momos from the boiling basket and added them to the patty. The vendor then added slices of raw onion and the popular packed snack, Aloo Bhujia. He topped all of it with some condiments, even adding the famous Momos chutney on top of the patties.

The Internet Was Not On Board With The Bizarre Food Combination

People on the internet were appalled by the combination. One user went as far as sarcastically suggesting the blogger eat “Ambuja cement” with the bizarre mix, “Thoda sa ambhuja cement daal dete toh or swad aajata.”

One user rooted for the original Aloo Patty, saying, “I would like to apologise to aloo patty from my fellow human being for this crime. RIP aloo patty.” While one actually wanted to try the concoction, “I think it will be nice .. I like momos also Aloo patty.” Another predicted, “Abhi kuch dino me momos chat bhi aayegi.”
