1. Magnetic Hill, Ladakh
A mysterious spot where the laws of gravity seem not to apply, Ladakh’s Magnetic Hill has been baffling visitors for years. Perched at a height of 14,000 feet above sea level, the hill is located on the Leh-Kargil-Srinagar national highway, about 30 km from Leh.
2. Loktak Lake
The largest natural freshwater lake in northeastern India, Loktak Lake is home to unique ecosystems called ‘Phumdi’. It’s well known as the Keibul Lamjao National Park, the world’s only floating wildlife sanctuary.
3. Dun Briste
Dun Briste and the surrounding cliffs were formed around 350 million years ago when sea temperatures were much higher and the coastline a greater distance away.
4. Balancing Rock
The formation of the ‘Balancing Rock’ is one of the rarest sights on earth. This gigantic rock is 20 feet (6 meters) high and 5 meter wide and weighing more than 250 tonnes rests on a slippy slope of a hill in Tamil Nadu.
5. Majlis al Jinn
Majlis al Jinn is the second-largest known cave chamber in the world, as measured by the surface area of the floor. It ranks lower when measured by volume.
6. Salar De Arizaro
The Salar de Arizaro is home to one of the most spectacular natural formations Cono de Arita. At first glance, it looks like a pyramid, but it is an all-natural volcano, which sits on a bed of salt.
7. Pink Salt Lake
Australia is home to many beguiling natural attractions, but its extraordinary pink lakes have got to be seen to be believed.
8. Yellowstone National Park
