Hilarious Air India Poster Goes Viral Online

In a hilarious post on Reddit, a user recently shared a glimpse of a bizarre Air India notice that barred people from bringing the usual banned things plus any coconuts on the flight. The notice made people online wonder what situation on air would have compelled the company to mention that people are not allowed to carry coconuts in their check-in baggage.
Besides coconut, the notice mentioned the usual articles not allowed on a plane. It read, “The following items are not permitted to be carried in check-in baggage.” The poster then listed a few examples. The usual suspects were the power banks, e-cigarettes, lighters, and other valuables like cash, gold, or even documents.

Now, adding to the usual listings, the poster mentioned a ban on coconuts on board as well as party poppers and, for some wild reason, a two-wheeled segway. It was not just the coconut ban that confused the internet but also the mention of a segway ban seemed out of the ordinary to many people online. One user who was shocked to see a Segway in the list wrote, “Who the f**k carries a Segway in their baggage?”
While one was still stuck and thinking about the coconut ban, “I can imagine a terrorist who attacks at Delhi airport by throwing coconut at people’s head.”
One user wondered about the reasons behind banning a coconut on the plane: “If the cut after breaking the coconut is not clean enough, it can be used to stab a person.”
One fellow was puzzled and asked about the reason behind not permitting documents, “What’s wrong with documents?”
To which one replied, “In case they get lost, they don’t wanna be responsible. It’s more of an advice from them. They won’t confiscate your docs if they found it in your check in luggage.”
Now, that the airline had banned coconuts on board, a user came up with the idea to smuggle them aboard a flight, “Crack them into half. Buy a bra. Et voila!”
While one user wanted to have the party poppers on the plane despite reading the banned list, “Oh shoot I wanted to have a party on board with party poppers.”
