It has been over one and half year since the coronavirus pandemic took over the world. Millions around the globe were affected by this deadly virus which still has us in complete isolation.
Daily activities like meeting people, going out to buy groceries or even going to work have become exceedingly difficult for now and we’re compelled to live in a shell.
However, living in a shell for us humans is psychologically and mentally not the best thing to do because at the end of the day. Not only it has been inducing a lot of fear, worry and concern in the population at large and among certain groups in particular, such as older adults it has also been causing anxiety and depression among people.
So, what can one do deal with this isolation? Or what can one do cope up with this worldwide pandemic that has taken over the globe? Well, different people are trying different ways and means to feel unaffected or feel slightly better about this pandemic. While most of us are watching shows and movies, some are taking up hobbies.

Instagram is a great place to check out how people are trying to cope up in their own ways. While some are working out hard and trying to remain fit, some have taken up cooking and are showcasing their culinary skills to their friends.
Sure, social media has been a great way to connect everyone to the world while being in isolation but is it helping our mental health? Not really. In fact, it is causing addiction among young adults and children as everyone remains homebound.
But a friend that will always make one detach from all the negativity and stress in the world is our very own piece of novel. It takes one to an imaginary world that feels too real to be untrue.
