With his unique ideas, Jugaadu Kamlesh was a hit with all the judges on Shark Tank India. Hailing from a small village in Maharashtra’s Malegaon, the man appeared on the show with his cousin Naru. They presented the design concept of his pesticide spray solution cart that promised to make the lives of farmers much easier.
The guy had gotten 40% equity from Lenskart founder Peyush Bansal for his genius idea. He also offered him an interest-free loan of Rs 20 lakh. Now, after the show has ended Bansal has revealed what is Kamlesh’s next move.

He shared it in an Instagram post.
“Everyone, I meet these days has one question….what is the update on Kamlesh from @sharktank.india?” Adding that he doesn’t believe in talking about things till something is achieved, he shared an update anyway on popular demand. “We have initiated a process of design and consumer validation of the cart with help of a team of professional Industrial designers,” Bansal wrote.
He even revealed that his design team visited Malegaon to spend time with the farmers of the village. Bansal further spoke about the biggest concerns of the project which are the weight of the cart, movement on different uneven terrains and width of the cart (as alley size is small in certain crops).
He further talked about further steps that he and his team will take. “Find creative solutions to these problems, do design optimisations and go back and test again.”
Jugaadu Kamlesh had won the hearts of many for his perseverance and determination to help the farmers. He had also gained a loan of Rs 20,00,000 on zero interest from Shark Tank India.
The show has been in the news for various reasons mostly including the judges and the different concept ideas presented by contestants.
