The 27-year-old, who is from Peterborough, England, had dreamed of starting her own business after working in the education industry for six years.

In her princess-ing business, Cutforth has made a career for herself by dressing up as a princess for children’s parties and corporate events.

The real-life princess told Kennedy News and Media, “I was so desperate to start my own company because I had all these ideas.” She continued, “I had this ambition and vision to run my own company, never thinking it would take off the way it did. I thought I’d just keep it as a side hustle, do some stuff at the weekends and carry on being a teacher.”

When the pandemic hit, Cutforth got the perfect chance to launch her children’s entertainment company. He named her venture ‘Beyond A Princess’. The company now hires impersonators who can entertain children at events and parties.

Before starting her business, it was TikTok that became Cutforth’s place to be. She garnered over 34,000 followers on the platform before coming up with her own business. She explained, “I saved up everything I made from school and put it straight into princessing.”

Even though coming up with the accurate dresses for her princess attire put a dent in her pocket, she says she has no regrets as “within a couple of months [she] made the money back.” The business owner has now expanded her UK company to “a team of eight and ten girls working for [her] and performing every weekend.”

She added, “I made sure all my team are trained singers, dancers and actresses so the kids are getting an authentic experience because all the girls sing just like the princesses.” Cutforth’s cast not only features princesses like Cinderella, Belle, Ariel, Elsa, and more but also offers dark characters like Maleficent and Netflix’s Wednesday Adams.
