Neeraj Chopra has scripted history by bringing home a gold medal in a track-and-field discipline after 120 years. He is the first Indian to do so and the whole country has been gushing about this fact.
However, we may have gotten our facts wrong because there was someone who brought home a gold for javelin much before any of us knew who Neeraj Chopra was.
This man was Tollywood actor Chiranjeevi. Surprised? Well, you shouldn’t be.
A video clip on Twitter has gone insanely viral especially after the Olympics which shows Chiranjeevi throwing a javelin like a pro.
This clip is shared by Twitter user Gabbar who captioned it, “The 1st Gold medal in Javelin”. In the 24-second clip, Chiranjeevi is participating in a track-and-field competition in his college. When he throws the javelin, it goes so far that it actually reaches the main stage making all the judges fall of their chairs. Later he wins a gold medal for it.
Not just that, Chiranjeevi does a spectacular celebratory dance afterwards making us believe that he is a multi-talented persona for sure.
