Cricketer Virat Kohli won big at the ongoing Asia Cup 2022. After an almost 3 year drought in his already long list of centuries, he scored 122 off 61 balls as India defeated Afghanistan in their final Super 4 clash, as per reports. This is his first T20I century and 71st international ton.
Virat Kholi wrote in an instagram post, “Thank you for all the love and support throughout the Asia Cup campaign. We will get better and come back stronger. Untill [sic] next time.”

Kholi’s last century was in 2019
Prior to this, Kolhi’s last century was in 2019. At Eden Gardens against Bangladesh and ODI century in August 2019 at Queen’s Park Oval against West Indies. According to Cricket Addictor, Virat Kohli has now become the 4th India National Cricket Team batter to smash a century in all three formats of the game after Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul.

Needless to say, social media was buzzing with congratulations and fans celebrating pan country. Virat Kohli has been trending on twitter since the big win with the tagline: ‘The king is back’

A heartwarming video is also making the rounds on the internet. In the video, a man can be seen bowing down to Kohli from his front seats, as Kohli celebrates on the field.
Fans are also lauding Kohli for crediting his victory to his wife, actor Anushka Sharma. After the match Virat said, “I know there was a lot of stuff going outside. And I kissed my ring. You see me standing here because one person has put things in perspective for me. That’s Anushka. This hundred is for her and for our little daughter Vamika as well. When you have someone next to you having conversations putting things in perspective, like Anushka has been… When I came back I was not desperate. Six weeks off I was refreshed.
