Woman nearly dives into a shark’s mouth
Ocean Ramsey frequently updates her Instagram page with videos of her amazing shark encounters. After being posted by the account “Oddly Terrifying” on Friday, the most recent clip started gaining popularity on social media once more.
As the shark prepares to bite her, it shows Ms. Ramsey returning to the boat just in time.
Before slowly swimming away, the tiger shark almost touches the woman’s flippers.
The video will make you think of a tense scene from a well-known shark movies like the Deep Blue Sea or Jaws.
The video received over 1.6 million views. The incident was captured in Hawaii and the clip was first posted on Ramsey’s Instagram page in October 2022. She identified the shark as Queen Nikki in the caption.

The diver was “laughing more than surprised,” the post continued, following the terrifying encounter. Ramsey explained why she decided to back off in an interview with Today. “When I saw her, she appeared to be approaching my fin tips because she was so close and moving so quickly. I could see her speed and realised that I needed to back off because there (were) a lot of small schooling fish beneath.”

One of the sea’s big and powerful creatures, the tiger shark can grow to be 14 feet long and weigh 1,400 pounds (635 kg). Because of the dark stripes on their sides and backs, these fish are known as tiger sharks.
