Actor Sunny Deol has given some of the greatest action flicks to audiences. Be it the recently released Gadar 2 or Border, he is an absolute master of what he does. Deol in a recent interview revisited his film Border and recalled a scene that made him tear up instantly.

Unfortunately, the scene in reference didn’t make it to the final cut because of its length.
Sunny talked about the impact of Border with YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia on his podcast show. He shared how several youngsters started getting listed in the armed forces, people started considering him a part of his own family and more. It was when Ranveer asked Deol about his favourite scene that teared up the actor.

He shared, “There was a scene that didn’t make it to the final cut. It was a lovely scene. JP Dutta’s father had written it. It’s right at the end of the film, and I’m at the small temple. I look back and see that there’s firelight coming from the bunker that had been destroyed.”

“I go over, and I see all of my fallen soldiers, sitting around the fire together. I talk to them, reassure them that I’ll take care of their families, I’ll fix the broken roof of their home, I’ll talk to their mothers. To me, it’s like they are there. I tell them that they are in heaven now, and there’s no fighting in heaven…”

This is when Sunny broke into tears and was seen wiping them off.
Sunny also addressed the questions about whether Border 2 ever came to anyone’s mind. He revealed, “We wanted to do this even earlier. I remember in 2015… But then my films didn’t work. So log ghabra ke nahi banana chah rahe the (People were scared to make it). Now everyone wants to make that!”
Gadar 2’s box-office collection!
Updating on the latest numbers, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted earlier today, “And #Gadar2 JUMPS AGAIN on #RakshaBandhan holiday… UNSTOPPABLE… Will cross ₹ 475 cr TODAY [Thu]… Will cross ₹ 500 cr in Weekend 4… [Week 3] Fri 7.10 cr, Sat 13.75 cr, Sun 16.10 cr, Mon 4.60 cr, Tue 5.10 cr, Wed 8.60 cr. Total: ₹ 474.35 cr.”
This is not the first time that the big man has cried like a baby. After Gadar 2’s bumper opening, director Anil Sharma revealed Sunny cried over a phone call with him.
