T20 World Cup: Dravid, Kohli & Rohit Reportedly Give Business Class Seats To Our Pacers

From Melbourne to Sydney to Perth to Adelaide before returning to Melbourne and then landing in Adelaide for the semis, it is pretty clear that India have had an extremely busy schedule at the T20 World Cup.

The travel can impact players but to keep the pacers in good shape the team management made life easier in the air.

According to a report in Indian Express, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma gave up their business class seats to Arshdeep Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya. It was done to allow them extra leg-room to take adequate rest.

“Before the tournament, we decided that since the pace bowlers clock the maximum mileage on field day in, day out, they need to stretch their legs,” a support staff member told Indian Express.
