London: Kelly Brooks, who recently won the poll for best beach body, has revealed that she loves her figure, but would be happier if she put on more weight.
The 32-year-old, who is dating former Scottish International rugby player Thom Evans, showed off her famous curves in her own New Look range bikinis and hot pants during a photoshoot for a magazine.”I love my body. The curvier I am, the happier I am. I think that’s true of most girls,” the Mirror quoted her as telling Look Magazine.”When you’ve got a lovely boyfriend, you just eat cake and kiss on the sofa. It’s lovely! The heavier I am, the more I like my boobs and bum, and the happier I look. If I got skinny, my body would look sad. I’m always going to have big boobs and quite a big bum. It’s so nice to be celebrated for who I am.”I wouldn’t want a figure like Alexa Chung’s, because I wouldn’t be able to dress like me. But it’s important to celebrate a range of sizes – some girls are naturally skinny, others are bigger. My body is a big part of my identity. Having a healthy relationship with my own style and sense of self is vital,” she said.On being asked if she sometimes feel insecure, she accepted that she did freak out like everyone else.”Sometimes I feel self-conscious. I start thinking I need to eat better and get to the gym,” she said.”I find trying on bikinis in shops really scary – the lighting is far from flattering. It’s quite a traumatic experience! But I think most girls panic a bit about wearing a bikini.”I retouch pictures of myself on Photoshop, and Instagram’s great – I love a filter,” she said. Her tip to women who want to have a body like her is to eat loads of pasta and cakes.”Eat loads of pasta and cake, and hope it goes to the right places,” she added.
