Ganesh Chaturthi is a very important Hindu festival that is celebrated across India, especially in Maharashtra, with great devotion. In Maharashtra, Lalbaugcha Raja or ‘King of Lalbaug’, located in Putlabai Chawl, is a well-known and most visited Ganesh idol in Mumbai.
This year Ganeshotsav 2022 will be celebrated on August 31st. Just before the start of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, Mumbai’s renowned Lalbaugcha Raja Ganpati’s first appearance was unveiled. Lalbaugcha Raja is a well-known and regularly seen Ganesh idol in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
