June is full of rare cosmic events. This month, we’ve already seen all the planets align in a straight line, and this time, on June 14, we caught a rare glimpse of the ‘strawberry supermoon’.
According to NASA, the celestial event is called ‘strawberry supermoon‘ because it signals a time to gather the harvest of strawberries and other fruits. Another interesting fact is that the full moon in June is known by different names in different parts of the world. In Europe, it is known as the ‘rose moon’ and determines the harvesting of roses.
