Footless Brazilian wonder kid Gabriel Muniz has been invited to train at Barcelona’s academy after the club coaches saw him during a summer camp in Rio.

One of his school’s top players, Gabriel Muniz, however, is unlikely to make it into a conventional team because he was born without feet.Last year he received a donated foot-ankle prosthesis, but he discards them to play football, often against boys twice his size.Jose Lopes, Gabriel’s PE teacher at his school in Campos, said the boy will go on to create opportunities for others like him, The Telegraph reports.”The disability only exists inside our heads, and, he is proving it to everyone; he is challenging the social norms. To this day, there isn’t a Paralympics 11-a-side football team, but Gabriel is showing this will have to change, because he wants to play 11-a-side football,” he said. After his appearance in Brazil’s most popular sports show on TV Globo network, Muniz was invited to take part in Barcelona’s summer training camp just outside the capital in Saquarema. His story and impressive skills inspired the Spanish club’s managers and he received an invitation to travel to Barcelona’s academy in September. The trip to Spain is already a dream come true for the 11-year-old, whose fantasy team consists almost entirely of Barcelona players, as well as himself of course.”Me, Messi, Dani Alves, Villa, Iniesta, Xavi, Victor Valdez, Adriano, Puyol, Pique, Mascherano and Sanchez,” the boy said.
